Join experienced facilitators Caroline and Jason Bernhardt-Lanier for a warm, lively, and experiential couples retreat designed to help you reconnect, deepen your communication, and rediscover one another — all while enjoying a romantic long weekend on the shores of Lac Léman in the charming village of Lutry.

Nestled between the lake and the vineyards of Lavaux, Lutry offers a peaceful, intimate setting — cobblestone streets, lakeside walks, local cafés, and breathtaking views — the perfect backdrop for slowing down and turning toward each other.

During the retreat, you’ll:

Languages

The workshop is designed for English- and French-speaking couples. Group teaching will be in English. Written materials will be available in French, and individual support in French can be offered as needed.

About Caroline and Jason

A licensed professional counselor and a parent educator, Caroline is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families experience healing, connection, and joy in their relationships. She holds an M.S. in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola, an M.Ed. from Harvard and a PhD with a specialization in Imago.

An organizational development leader and an Integral executive coach, Jason works at Ashoka with social entrepreneurs around the world. He holds an MS in Positive Organization Development from Case Western. He is also a leader with the Mankind Project and Illuman, organizations that foster male development.

Married for more than 30 years, Caroline and Jason enjoy their 4 adult children and leading Imago couples workshops together.

Our Cancellation Policy

Space is considered “reserved” after payment in full has been received. You will be notified when payment and registration are completed.
After registration is confirmed, requested refunds are subject to a $50 administrative fee.
If a cancellation occurs within 14 days (two weeks) of the workshop start date, an additional $100 cancellation fee applies.
If a cancellation occurs within 7 days (one week) of the workshop’s start date, a refund is not available. However, a 50% credit towards a future Imago Center workshop is offered for use within one year, pending availability.
Refunds and credits are not available for participants who “no show” or leave early.
Presenters are not responsible for non-refundable travel/hotel expenses under any circumstances.
Full refunds are issued for “presenter canceled” workshops.
