With Harville Hendrix, PhD, and Helen LaKelly Hunt, PhD

What has changed—and what has endured—over the decades since Imago Relationship Therapy first emerged?

In this live two-hour conversation, Harville Hendrix, PhD, and Helen LaKelly Hunt, PhD, will reflect on the development of Imago, what has evolved in their thinking, and the lessons that have emerged through decades of relational work.

Together, they will explore what therapists most need to understand about the Imago Dialogue, including the deeper clinical meaning of holding the space between partners. They will consider how the Dialogue can become more than a communication technique: a relational practice that supports safety, differentiation, connection, and healing.

The conversation will also include Harville and Helen’s current reflections on real love, the future of relational therapy, and where they see the Imago movement going next.

Grounded in clinical practice while allowing room for reflection and conversation, this event offers therapists and relational practitioners an opportunity to revisit the foundations of Imago, deepen their understanding of its central ideas, and consider how the work may continue to evolve.
