I know reaching out can feel like a big step, so thank you for taking it. I offer a safe space for individuals and couples to face challenges, find meaning, and pursue goals. My style is intentional, collaborative, and down-to-earth. With over 15 years in HR, I bring insight into performance and career-related stressors while juggling other areas of life. I know it can be hard to manage it all. I also support those facing parenting, pregnancy, and relationship difficulties; social inequities; trauma; depression and anxiety; grief due to loss; health and chronic conditions; and challenges navigating life transitions or adjustments.

Let’s be real: therapy wasn’t on most families’ weekly to-do lists. So if you’re feeling curious, nervous, or even skeptical, you’re not alone. For individuals, I integrate CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic approaches. For couples, I use Imago Relational therapy and Gottman Method modalities to enhance trust, communication, and intimacy. For couples interested in premarital counseling, we’ll use assessments to help you explore your individual and shared values as you prepare for your new chapter together.

As a mom, wife, and member of a multicultural family, I understand the complexities of balancing cultures, identities, and traditions. As an avid traveler and culturally affirming therapist, I strive to create an inclusive environment that honors everyone, especially people of color, immigrants, first-generation families, and all who are blending worlds.

While I work with a broad range of concerns for individuals and couples, my areas of focus include:

  • Premarital and couples counseling
  • Parenting and pregnancy-related challenges (e.g., pregnancy loss, infertility, conflict)
  • Grief & loss
  • Chronic medical conditions
  • Racial trauma & challenges faced by people of color
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Career counseling
  • Spirituality and faith-based interventions
  • College of William & Mary – M.Ed., Counseling
  • Imago Relationship Therapy – Trained
  • Gottman Method – Trained (Levels 1 & 2)
  • Private sessions: For personal growth and self-discovery
  • Couples & premarital sessions: To build stronger, healthier partnerships
  • Group sessions: For connection and shared support in community
