Keeping the Love You Find™

What if understanding your relationships started with getting to know yourself a little better?

Keeping the Love You Find® is a two-day workshop for anyone who wants to understand themselves more deeply and create more meaningful connections. Whether you’re single, dating, partnered, or married, you’re welcome here.

Maybe your relationships are going well and you’re curious about what’s possible. Maybe the same patterns keep showing up, or there are experiences from your past you’re ready to explore with a fresh perspective.

Through guided reflection, practical exercises, and connection with others, you’ll have an opportunity to:

  • Understand how your past shapes the way you connect today
  • Recognize patterns you want to change and strengths you want to build on
  • Develop new skills for communication and connection
  • Create a Personal Growth Plan to carry what you learn into everyday life

What to expect

Over two days, Ciara will guide you through teaching, demonstrations, writing, meditation, visualization, and conversations with other participants.

You’ll have time for personal reflection and opportunities to learn alongside people exploring their own relationship experiences. The insights you gain will help shape a Personal Growth Plan you can continue using long after the workshop.

No previous therapy or Imago experience is needed. This is not therapy, and personal disclosure is not required.

Keeping the Love You Find® was developed by Harville Hendrix, PhD, and Helen LaKelly Hunt, PhD, co-creators of Imago Relationship Therapy.

What’s included

Light refreshments and a comprehensive workshop manual are included. Your manual is yours to keep, filled with exercises, insights, and practical tools you can return to long after the workshop ends, supporting your personal growth and relationships through life’s many seasons.

An invitation to contribute to research on Black relationships

Black relationships deserve to be understood in all their depth and diversity.

Ciara Simonson, a Black woman and PhD candidate at Daybreak University, is researching how Imago workshops impact Black couples, with particular attention to Black men’s experiences.

As part of her study, eligible participants can attend Keeping the Love You Find® at no cost.

You may qualify if:

  • You and your partner both identify as Black/African American.
  • You are both between 25 and 65 years old.
  • You are in an intimate relationship, married, in a common-law marriage, or have lived together for at least six months.

Participation involves an eligibility screening and research activities, including questionnaires. Ciara will provide details about the study and what participation involves before you decide.

Interested in learning more?

Email Ciara at ciara.simonson@imagocenterdc.com or fill out the contact form on her bio page to get in touch.
She’ll share the screening questionnaire and, if you’re eligible, instructions for complimentary registration.
